Ear Lobe Rejuvenation

At Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Specialists, we have been using Restylane, a naturally occurring, safe sterile substance to fill in hollows caused by aging, and to add millimeters, dimension, proportion, and projection to the face to make it more youthful and more beautiful. We can add Restylane to the cheeks to make them higher and more accentuated, to the chin to strengthen it, or to the jawline to bring out facial form and angles. We can add Restlyane to the bags under the eyes to hide them (instead of eyelid surgery to remove them!), and to jowls and divots and wrinkles to make them disappear.

Recently, Dr. Wulc has been making cosmetic advances adding Restylane to ear lobes which hollow out and thin and droop as we get older. We've noticed that ear lobes that are in contact with the phone or are slept on tend to atrophy more than ones that are not subject to trauma over a lifetime. After a face lift, the ear lobe can lose the most volume. Injecting the ear lobe elevates the drooping. It can also decrease the size of the expanded hole caused by heavy earrings. By adding volume to the earlobe your earring studs can hang directly outward instead of drooping down and out. The positive effects of injecting Restylane in the ear lobe offer a simple alternative to surgery.
